Hello everybody, 

After a lot of thinking and over-analyzing...lol...I finally uploaded the images to my Spring/Summer 2009 collection.  This past couple months have really been a battle.  With moving to a new location, keeping up with part time school, full time work, my fashion design business which is luckily attracting more and more work and recognition and a very dear relative in California who was fighting stomach cancer for her life, well let's just say that I have been trying to keep up.  My dear Aunt passed away from cancer August 17th, 2008.  I have to honestly say that life caught up with me and is kicking me in the butt.  This contest is around at such a great time where my business is moving to the next level and yet it's come along at such a difficult time as well.  After picking up where I left off, I'm now ready to show everybody the progress of the collection as it comes to life.  I have decided to dedicate this collection to my aunt who is above watching over me.  I wanted the collection to be very wearable and heavenly inspired.  There is a lot of light fabrics like silks, and chiffons.  There is also beautiful feathers, and soft earth tones through out the pieces.  Please check back for more updates and take a look at the sketches under the "Designs" section and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
