Thursday night there was only one place to be: 20 Pine, the luxury condominium building furnished by Armani Casa, for the David Foote (in) Res-i-dence party. The glamorous event marked the launch of a month long exhibit at the 20 Pine Penthouse, where Foote’s work will be on display.
The crowd was a veritable who’s who of the art and fashion worlds with guests including actor Anson Mount, Gossip Girl’s Nicole Fiscella, Prince Mario-Max of Schaumburg-Lippe, Ali & Gregory Kwiat, Vogue’s Elissa Lumley and Serenah Nikkah, a slew of socialites, as well as designers Johan Lindeberg, Keith Lissner, Lara Meiland-Shaw, Celeste Greenberg and Whitewall Editor-in-Chief Michael Klug.
The party as split on two levels: the terrace lounge on the 25th floor, complete with cabanas, a reflecting pool and views of downtown Manhattan to make anyone swoon and the building’s penthouse. DJ Equal played an amazing set of all the hottest “fashion” songs like MGMT’s “Kids” and “Electric Feel.”
When the weather on the terrace got too biting, guests made their way to the penthouse, which showcased Foote’s work. The eight paintings and fifteen sketches shown were both a mix of his “New Girls” collection as well as a preview of his upcoming series, “Cloud Readings.” The penthouse was as impeccably chic and well outfitted as the guests, all dressed to impress.
It would also be remiss to not mention the fact that the party’s hosts, Annie Churchill, Carol Han, Dalia Oberlander, Eva Jeanbart-Lorenzotti, Jennifer Creel, and Valerie Boster wore over one hundred carats worth of Kwait diamonds.
At the end of the night, guests went home with a gift bag including the latest issue of Whitewall Magazine as well as The Essence by Porsche Design cologne for men.
