CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalists Announced

The Council of Fashion Designers of America announced the finalists for the 2009 CFDA Awards. 

The finalists are Richard Chai; Jason Wu; Alexander Wang; Irene Neuwirth; Albertus Q. Swanepoel of Albertus Quartus; Alejandro Ingelmo; Juan Carlos Obando; Swaim and Christina Hutson of Obedient Sons & Daughters; John Patrick of Organic, and Sophie Mayock and Lisa Buhai of Vena Cava.

The CFDA/Vogue awards strives to recognize and support emerging talent in the fashion design community by providing monetary prizes.  Last year's awards were just given out last month and were the widely publicised with many celebrities in attendance.
