Giorgio Armani's resort collection was everything a woman should be: sophisticated, confident and a little quirky. The clothes evoked a powerful woman who knows who she is and where she is going. Could it be that Mr. Armani had Hillary Clinton on the mind in creating those oh-so-subtly sexy pantsuits?
The collection was, for the most part, loose and deconstructed with high-waisted, long, baggy pants paired with slouchy blouses as well as flowing dresses punctuated by some structured, mini-cropped blazers.
The silhouette remained true to Armani's style and heritage. The blazers brought to mind a 1940's classicism, infused with jolts of bright oranges and reds. It is easy to imagine them lining the walk in closets of the patrician Beverly Hills society women.
