H&M shopping through ads
H&M shopping through ads
I'm writing this post while trying to decide if it belongs under Tech or maybe Fashion. H&M has created a new way for you to shop. Using a semacode (a barcode chip that can be scanned with a cellphone to recieve information) in their print ads you can now shop for anything through your cell.
Available for now in Europe, it's very simple: you see something you like in an ad, you point your cameraphone at the semacode, one click and you have it - the item will be billed to your phone bill.
No more standing in line, and new limits to immediate satisfaction.

love the idea, but i don't know how can you buy something just by looking at the ad... especially with h&m... their stuff always look good on models, but then you try it on and it never fits well...
