Apart from his Facebook make-ups and break-ups with boy toys and the GQ profile from a couple of months ago, we haven’t really heard much from Marc Jacobs lately. Or at least nothing as interesting as the events surrounding his Fall ‘08 collections.
So, I’m excited and eager to read the profile of everybody’s favorite designer in the June/July issue of Interview magazine, which depicts Jacobs as Andy Warhol on the cover and in the accompanying editorial.
Bryan Boy has obtained a sneak peak of the spread. And I have to say, the man looks more Boy George than Andy Warhol. Nonetheless, the styling, makeup, exposed Sponge Bob tattoo, and platform shoes are all things of fierce Tranny dreams.
In other news, tees ($38 ) and totes ($15) with Marc’s Interview cover on them will be sold at his Bleeker Street store, which will benefit the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh.
