A Look At Spring Fashion

Clearly the year is going by swiftly....Can you believe it's already March!!! While the rest of the world is enjoying the beginning of spring and the great fashion that comes with it, the Mid-West and East-Coast are still dwelling in the monstrous winter. Everyone knows they only have two seasons, winter and summer and fall if they are lucky; but thats no excuse not to exude spring sassyness through your wardrobe. Although March is the month for March Madness... I am officially declaring it the month for Fashion Madness. Fashionistas.....Take your anger out on the bitter cold through your wardrobe and go mad with style. Be fashionable and fierce in the spring must haves and prove to the world that spring is not only a season it's a mindset. You can rock some of this season's trends fabulously while still staying warm and fierce. Don't fret I am here to fill you in on all the latest trends and a few fabulous tips on how to rock them. So don't think about the cold, be bold and go mad with fashion this spring the fierce and fabulous way!!!

Color Me Bold

Spring fashion is all about bold and bright colors. Yellows, reds, orange, greens, fuchsia, bright blues, purple, and the list goes on. Think fabulous and bright dresses, tops, bags, and shoes this season. No matter the color just make sure it pops and is paired with the right counter part. Do not over do it and pair to many colors together all at once, this just screams tacky rainbow. Generally focus on one or two brights at a time, three may be pushing it but just make sure all the colors come together and you bring the fabulousness to the fore front. When in a colder place, pair your brights with neutral colors like tan or snake skin accessories . These give the over all look a calmer feel but still allows the brightness of the colors to shine through. For an edgier look wear tan boots with a bold color dress. Being a fashionista is all about being edgy!

Be seen in A-Line

Just in case you were wondering this skirt is named after its cute shape, cinched and slimming at the waist with a girlish flare at the bottom, much like the letter “A”..... got it.......good!!! Also known as the wide skirt it is back like it never left and better than before in all shapes and sizes. Whether pleated, balloon, tiered, or gathered, it is a fierce must have for the season. These skirts look fabulous when worn with a simple tank, sheer or ruffled blouse, a cute cardigan, or all of the above all at once!!! When worn in a cooler climate, don't be afraid to wear this skirt with, my all time fav, opaque tights. They look great with this look and play really well with the fullness of the skirt. You can also add a belt for a little more glam.

Sail the Season Away

The Nautical look is having an amazing influence on fashion this spring and will more than likely play over into the summer months. Normally composed of white or cream with navy blue and a pop of gold, sometimes a hint of yellow or red, these colors are everything but dead when paired together fabulously. Some nautical looks combine navy and cream or white strips and are accented with gold sailor buttons. While other looks can come together by uniquely combining the colors above. This look is easily achieved in a cooler climate because of the darkness of navy; but be sure to wear cream instead of white until the temperature rises a bit. This is a glamorously tailored look that is demure but chic, and no matter where you are this look is definitely one to love this spring.

These few tips should set you fashionably on your way. Be bold and don't be afraid to embrace these fierce looks and bring your fabulousity to the forefront. Go mad with style and do not use the weather as an excuse not to embrace this seasons' trends. It's no longer about March Madness it's about Fashion Madness.......So Go Hard or Go Home!!!
