Okay, have you ever seen something on television and bought it only to be woefully disappointed? Well not to worry. I just purchased and bathroom laboratory tested this great little answer to a really smooth foot.

You may have seen the product on the infomercial. It's the PedEgg. The neat little pedicure skin scraper. In the commercial they show how incredibly easy it is to remove an entire ton of dead skin in just a few easy passes with the Ped Egg. Well, I bought one from CVS drugstore for my own scientific trial. I followed the directions and sure enough, the device worked really good! After you shave, you turn the ped egg over to the other side and use the emery sheet to smooth the skin completely.

I ended my session with a warm cloth, then dried my feet and applied Shea butter and African 8 Oil and topped my beautiful feet off with hot tomale red nail polish. I have a great red dress I got on sale and I'm wearing it tomorrow.

You can order the Ped Egg on line or off the commercial if you catch it. But more than likely you can now find it at your neighborhood drug store. Mine cost $9.00 and came with two sanding smoothers. An individual pack of 3 extra shavers cost $9.00.

What I like most about the Ped Egg is that is is much safer than the traditional blades used to remove dead skin. With those your feet have to be soaked for a while to get the skin soft enough to shave. You also have to be very careful not to keep slicing because you can accidently go todeeply. The Ped Egg allows you to get off only as much as you want.Note: it works really well after soaking in a warm tub too, but you don't have to.
