Dear Friends, This e-mail was sent to me regarding the Internet Choice Award for the Mrs. Michigan United States pageant. Internet Choice Awards for Mrs. Michigan United States, 2008!
This year, we have added to our extensive list of awards the Internet Choice Award!  Like our other special awards, the Internet Choice Award is not factored into the overall competition scoring and places no bearing on the judges' decisions whatsoever.  The recipient will be presented with an Official Mrs. Michigan United States Award onstage during the coronation ceremony.The voting will start at midnight on Thursday, May 9, 2008 and will end at midnight Thursday, May 15, 2008.  One vote may be cast per day per computer (in a 24 hour period) for seven days.
 
HOW TO REACH IT
Go to  http://www.mrsmichiganunitedstates.com/pageant.htm <http://www.mrsmichiganunitedstates.com/pageant.htm>  to access the delegate photo gallery.  At the top of the photo gallery ,click on the Internet Choice Award link.  This will bring up the online voting form.
 
During the voting process, you will need to select who you are voting for and also enter verification text at the bottom of the form before you vote.  Once you vote, you will immediately see the results.  If you attempt to reach the voting page via a direct link, it will come up with the error message: "You May Only Access This URL Through An Authorized Link."  You can only access the online voting form through the Mrs. Michigan United States website.
 
HOW TO WIN
 
Getting a couple of friends and family to vote for you will not win the award.  The voting will get very heavy and this poll is viewed from any place in the world by anyone that has Internet access.  Develop a strategy now to get your votes!  At school and work, make sure as any people as possible vote for you each day.  If you belong to any organizations, email lists, or Myspace or Facebook groups, make sure that they are notified to vote for you each day.  If you are making appearances and \ or doing volunteer work with an organization, ask them to email their sponsor and volunteer lists to get people to vote for you.  The delegate who networks best will win the award -- with the most votes from anywhere in the world!

WHY INTERNET VOTING

It attracts sponsors for the pageant when they see how many people go to the site and vote.  Think of it like TV ratings \ sweeps week but on the Internet.  And some people who vote for you may decide to support you even further by being in the audience to cheer you on.
