We all love our warm weather wardrobe but in fashion, everything is about looking forward, which brings me to the Ann Taylor Holiday 2009 Preview I attended yesterday. 

All the cozy sweaters, party dresses, and shiny baubles made me excited about the holiday bashes come winter season.

Ann Taylor, usually known for its business attire has really gone in a different direction under new head designer, Lisa Axelson.

While the line maintains its professional feel, the collection looks more high-end and mixes quality fabrics and detailing without a significant price jump, so all the pieces are affordable yet extremely stylish.  The line incorporates pops of colors with different shades of reds, yellows,and blues, but also includes a wonderful selection of embellished, little black dresses.

The Ann Taylor 2009 Holiday Collection will be in stores beginning in August.  Remember, it's never too early to start thinking about what you'll be wearing for the winter!
