Brides-to-be, if you ever dreamed of walking down the aisle in a gorgeous Badgley Mischka creation, we have some exciting news. Mark Badgley and James Mischka are creating a secondary, more affordable bridal line this spring.

The designers were inspired to design a collection for brides on a tight budget so they could have their dream wedding and be able to wear a glamorous and classic gown.

“Obviously, with the recession, everything has slowed down to a certain degree,” Badgley said. “We definitely know that we need to broaden our reach.”

The 12-piece collection will range from $2,000 to $4,000 compared to the designers' high-end collection which retails from $4,000 to $10,000.  The bridal dresses in the new line feature the same silhouettes and embellishments Badgley Mischka gowns are known for but of course, at a lower price. Lust-worthy yet accessible, I predict this line could be a huge success.
