I've always adored Nicole Richie's laid-back, chic, and effortless style. She's had a taste of designing with her popular House of Harlow 1960 accessories and maternity line for A Pea in the Pod and now she's expanding into a ready-to-wear clothing collection.
The label "Winter Kate" (taken from her daughter Harlow's two middle names) consists of 37 pieces for spring and will be available in stores such as Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Ron Herman, Intermix, and Kitson beginning in February.
Tops, vests, and bed jackets in vintage-inspired fabrics such as silk, crepe, and chiffon will be the focus of the collection which mimics pieces in Nicole's wardrobe. Long slip dresses, tunics, and kimono-sleeved styles also make their appearance in the line that will be moderately priced.
“Fashion should be accessible,” she said. “That was my philosophy when designing House of Harlow 1960 and it remains my philosophy for Winter Kate.”
I'm pretty excited to see all the looks she has come up with. Are you?
