As I'm mostly freelancing, I've been struggling to find places for work outside my house that have good wifi and nice vibe where I could spend few hours. And i dont mean starbucks... So thanks to a guy named Andre Lewis that is a brain bahind www.hotspotr.com now we got an interactive google map that lists all hot spots in the country by city or zip code. you can share your own places, rate, recommend etc. I already added my hot spots. Hope he will be able to take it to the next level and create a community of hotspotrs, whihc is pretty big, especially here in NYC.
