Let’s just hope that Oprah continues to like Barack Obama more than she does, per se, James Frey. I assume he will as he’s no political moron and to be Oprah-dorsed is, at the very least, akin to being smeared in gold butter. And not just any gold butter, but one that is both delicious and hardens into cash. Visualize.

What I’m trying to say is that Oprah is a force to be reckoned with and I bet Hilary was being slathered in golden butter right now. I read an article many ages ago saying that if Oprah herself ran for office, she would be a major threat to other candidates because her fan base is that huge and that loyal and that capable of returning votes. Hello Book Club! Hello Favorite Things! And since she isn’t running for office, whoever she endorses is basically receiving the biggest campaign contribution in the history of the world.

Now that things have been Oprah-fied, this might get interesting.
