I love this perfume, especially for daytime, meetings, class, and other times you don't want a scent that people can smell as soon as you walk into the room. Lovely is a light, feminine fragrance that's not overwhelmingly floral or musky, just delicate, pretty and wearable. It stays relatively close to the skin (and is a pleasant surprise for your S.O.when he gets close), but with that said it does tend to fade over the course of the day. The pen-size travel version helps with that.
