This season marks the fifth year the Academy of Art University has offered its talent the opportunity to showcase their work at the Tent for New York Fashion Week. 

The San-Francisco based university presented seven Spring 2010 women's wear collections from recent graduates Marina Nikolaeva Popska, Kara Sennett, Amanda Cleary, Richelle Valenzuela, Brittney Major, Jie Pan, and Sawanya Jomthepmala. These designers come from all different backgrounds with some who have interned with big names such as Zac Posen, Anna Sui, and Elie Tahari.

Each presentation had a unique point of view and it was easy to spot when each collection began.  From the heavy peach-colored knits by Popska, to Sennett's 1960s inspiration, to Valenzuela's impressive organza die cut dress-- we got a taste of each of these talented designers.
