Soothing Brazilian music played as Carlos Miele's creations glided down the runway-- setting the scene at the tropical South American beaches. For spring, the designer showed off a number of pleated boleros worn over dresses and separates.
Beautiful silk chiffon mini dresses, floor-length gowns, tops, and skirts in nudes, golds, blues and coral pinks were in high force in this breezy collection. Wool pants, roped belts, watercolor and snake skin prints also made an appearance on the runway. For Spring 2010, Miele offers quite a selection with his signature colorful pieces along with a few black designs for those who want to play a little more safe.
I can hear the waves crashing now.
