Trend alert! For Fall/Winter 2009, it’s all about 80’s rocker chic. Wichy Hassan for Miss Sixty took the era’s iconic pieces and translated them into playful, cosmopolitan looks—tempting any girl to max out her credit card in a jiff.
Miss Sixty was an über-cool smorgasbord, filled with trompe l’oeil graphic printed fabrics, studded leather and stone washed denim. While there were loads of pop art inspired frocks—enforcing the electric color palette of orange, blue and fuchsia against black—the paramount moments came as a collection of outerwear: from windbreakers in multicolored magazine motifs and a cropped faux fur motorcycle jacket to nylon quilted coat dresses with exaggerated cinched waist and puff sleeves.
