Modern, sophisticated, and refined all accurately describe the Angel Sanchez show. The collection was less focused on trends and more centered on creating elegant, timeless pieces.
The show began with several black and gray looks, which evolved into silver metallics that had a space-age feel to them. Beyond this, the color palette was generally muted with earthy, neutral colors like olives and browns being dominant.
Though many of the dresses had fitted bodices, others conveyed a more rectangular look. There was a classic sensibility to the clothes that was evident in their wearability seen in elements such as pockets in front of evening dresses as well as stylish separates. It might have been because of this ‘safety’ though that the collection seemed a bit blasé at times.
