The Anna Sui show was all about the 60’s hippie girl and psychedelic, bohemian flower power.  The models wore headbands with flowers and the floral prints that are ubiquitous in the Fall collections were present not surprisingly present here as well. 

Color was one of the most important aspects in Anna Sui’s collection with deep purples and ultramarine blues being the main palette.  Some fabrics sparkled beautifully like fish scales and others even appeared to be holographic as they flowed down the runway. 

The collection was light and airy with beautiful, imaginative fabrics that conveyed a feeling of hope and joyousness .  The collection also incorporated elements that recalled Elizabethan regalia.  Purple velvets conveyed a feeling of majesty, amplified by a cape that was sent down on the runway.
