Unlike Sweet Pea, Chris March did have creative vision behind his collection, the problem was that his vision wasn' t really modern or attractive. The lack of taste that the judges suspected the entire season, was revealed here in a full glory - red and black velvet that dominated in most of the looks kept bringing the associations of old theater curtains (and considering Chris' background in theater that could easily be true).
It was too dark, too heavy, without the much needed edge.
He definitely tried to show his imagination by adding fringing hair pieces on some of the garments, which brought the darkness into a freaky zone.
While most pieces would find their customer, his vision wasn't innovative or modern enough to win the Bryant Park challenge.
