Zac Posen’s Fall 2008 collection left me a little confused. While there is no doubt that the collection was well-crafted and tailored, the overly exaggerated princess gowns and unrealistic sheer pieces exposing 'unmentionables' were a turn off.
This young designer is loved by Hollywood for his fresh and creative designs supported by his amazing couture like craftsmanship. It is obvious Zac is still trying to find his voice in this crazy business called Fashion.
The makeup and hair were truly the highlights of the show. While most designers preferred naturally fresh makeup and lightly textured hair, Zac opted for over-the-top Bombshell Movie Star makeup. Matte vivid red lips paired with a glossy black lid and heavy eye liner made a bold statement. While slick hair was pulled up in a tight bun on top of the head and secured with black pompoms.
