Sarah in Kimono
I was asked to model a kimono at an international festival when I was in Japan. The one I own is actually blue and purple, but I don't have any pics. Anyway, considering how much Japanese culture has started influencing pop culture over here in the past few years, I wouldn't be surprised to see more asian inspired designs in the near future. I wish I were brave enough to wear my kimono in public, but I'm afraid people would think I was dressing up for Halloween. Isn't it strange? People can wear kimonos in Japan and no one thinks twice. Talk about cultural differences.
