The other day , I had the pleasure of walking into the Pesca Boutique , located on 1151A Second Avenue in Manhattan. This particular boutique has been open for nearly 30 years and is filled with an incredible selection of the finest American swimwear, European swimwear and Brazilian swimwear styles and designs. From Anika Brazil, Aqua Bendita,Elizabeth Hurley, La Perla, Badgley Mischka, Beach Bunny, Vix and soo much more. In addition, the boutique sells an array of designer cover-ups, sarongs, flip flops, summer dresses, and basically everything you need for your summer getaway.

I had a chance to speak with the owner, Teresa Azizian, who was able to tell me about what makes her boutique unique. She responded by saying, that at Pesca Boutique they custom fit the bathing suit to your needs. If you want your body to have more curves, they add padding to the suit. In addition they carry sizes from XXS chests, to DD chests. The prices at Pesca Boutique range from $150-$350. Whatever you buy there is well worth it. As I left Pesca, I asked the owner why the boutique is called Pesca, and interestingly she responded, that in Italian and Spanish pesca means fish and fish swim, therefore because she sells swim wear she thought pesca would fit perfectly!
