Seeing the premiere last weekend of "The Brave One" was very exciting. Even more exciting was the Q&A with Jodie Foster and the rest of the "team".
I must say that the beginning of the movie was quite strong and powerful, giving me the feeling that New York is not safe at all (which is probably true) but after that the movie was too slow and too long.
The amazing Jodie Foster, playing a girl who was attacked together with her fiancé by some criminals in central park, takes the law into her skinny hands. Jodie is trying to overcome the tragedy of her fiancé loss by killing every criminal in her way.
Don't get me wrong, i love action movies and i love shootings, but it was going too far and i really felt like in a Tomb Raider game, or Angelina Julie movie.
The Q&A with the actors and the crazy director exposed me to the human side of the showbiz, which was quite nice.
If you like action movies or Judie Foster, go and see this movie. Otherwise skip it.
