FLOR and Maximo, the official source for designs by Alexander Girard, worked closely together to create four vibrant, lively and functional six-tile Girard rugs The Girard line of FLOR carpet tiles is based on Girard’s “sun” designs from La Fonda del Sol restaurant, which was open in New York City between 1961 and 1971 FLOR is a residential line of high-style, modular carpet squares FLOR products are non-toxic (no off-gas, low VOCs and formaldehyde-free) and include anti-microbials (inhibit growth of mold and bacteria)
