The commercial caught my eye. Colorful furniture and accents for the home and dorm rooms designed by Sami Hayek (brother to Selma). Sami is just the latest upscale designer to partner with the retailer.

With a collection of furniture (desks, chairs, lamps, etc.), bedding and other home accents, Hayek's designs for target are right up any young and modern person starting out in a dorm room, renting their first apartment or buying a new home. Not only does he have fabulous pieces, the pieces go together. So often many designers just pick their most popular pieces to be sold in different stores but they don't always match. Moreover, the prices are reasonable. Even though Target is a little more expensive than its competitors like Walmart, the quality of designers is what draws customers (like me) in.
