I will preface this by saying that I am a huge MSNBC buff. I love watching everything and anything that has to do with politics. And Chris, Pat, and Joe (oh, I’ve met all of them… not) have all spoken about the McCain ads that have been geared towards Obama’s “celebrity”.

 Is there some evidence for this claim? 

I don’t know about Obama’s celebrity, but I do know that he has entered into New York fashion.

I saw people selling Obama apparel on 113th and Broadway. They were super cute. I remember even seeing American Apparel putting Obama’s face on one of their sweatshop free tees (and you will, too). Outside of my work building, there is the street artist. He and this chick (meant affectionately- I am totally not a sexist) are really good at graphic tees. They have a lot of prints for other celebrity faces, the old and new, and of course Obama is one of them. This new fashion has even gone so far, as to create Obama boxers, and Obama boy-shorts (which were pretty cute, just strange in it’s concept). 

Is he a celebrity? And when did it happen? Either way, I will give you a few of the Obama pieces. If you have the McCain fashion- send it out.
