If you' ve never been to a launch party- here' s your chance. Penguin is throwing the Anne of Green Gables 100th anniversary launch party, where they' ll release the new prequel to the Anne Shirley series and the new re-print of Anne Shirley books. The event will be held at the Royal Ontario Museum from 7pm until 8:30pm on Tuesday, February 12th 2008. Tickets are available from the Royal Ontario Museum' s website, or by calling 416-586-5797.

Author Budge wilson will be signing copies of this mysterious new Anne Shirley book as will Dr. Elizabeth Epperly, author of Imagining Anne: The Island Scrapbooks of L. M. Montgomery.  Raspberry Cordial and Green Gables Pound Cake will be served at the event.
