The new line of futuristic concept phones by Sony Ericsson are being developed. Phones that fold into watches and can be worn on the wrist like an early '90's snap bracelet, and phones that fold out into flat screen TVs. While they wont be out on the market for a while, Sony is saying they've developed the phones of the future.
Michael Laut (www.mikelaut.com) thinks differently-he thinks simplicity will be the futuristic trend rather than super swank tech toys. His phone design, the Radia phone, shows that simplicity doesn't mean traditional. Its a steel and glass disk that fits in the palm of your hand.
While I'm not sure that the Radia or the snap bracelet will necessarily be the phones of the future, they certainly are expanding the boundaries of technical innovation.
