Hailing from the East, working for such prolific labels as Atlantic Records, Lava Records, and Warner Music Group, he’s managed to stay optimistic about what he calls “the world’s only Universal language.” Having mentored under Arif Mardin (the legendary Grammy award-winning producer) Michael had the opportunity to work with artists such as Chaka Khan, Bette Midler, Jewel, and others while witnessing music making in its truest art form. From planned string sessions, to off the cuff console recordings, Michael has been blessed in his unique experiences. His other passion, music journalism came to the forefront through his Sonic Satori column at Hifi+ magazine. The pages earned the writer a dedicated readership from 1996 through 2002. As a DJ and producer, he has played clubs around the world (London, Miami, Ibiza, and New York).
