This British teen drama is based on the lives of a group of 15-19 year olds growing up in Bristol.  Rediculously trashy television at it's most fabulous, this group of irresponsible teens run into almost every issue a teenager possibly could face all in one big bang, whilst managing to look like they just walked off a fashion shoot during every dramatic second of it.

Comedy interweaves with drama as the characters act out the badly behaved teenage years you probably never had but secretly would have liked to experienced.  Fortunately for us it is up to the characters also to experience the consequences as they gradually spiral out of control .  Driven to or fueled by drugs, drink, the opposite sex and coursework the back bone of the series is how the cast pull together through the difficult times as their friendships and relationships are tested; mostly by leading bad boy Tony (Nicholas Hoult, the cute kid from About A Boy).

The soundtrack is hip, the storylines are over the top, these characters aren't setting a good example but it's good fun to watch.  Even though it's based on teenagers this should not be watched by anyone young enough to be influenced, the content is adult.  Like that naughty candy bar you know you shouldn't eat but secretly can't get enough of!

Favourite character:  Cassie, a kooky, bubbly, bright, self-destructive girl with an eating disorder, her sense of style is charity shop pretty and breezy whatever the weather.
