I do the same thing- I actually take more pride in a "great deal" that gets me a lot of compliments than I do in something I spent more money on. Probably because it takes more effort and skill to find that great deal. But taking care of your skin isn't just about appearance, it's about taking care of the body you've been blessed with. And it's about comfort too- both pimples and eczema can be painful, after all. The whole bare on top covered on bottom or vice versa thing is probably one of my biggest rules when dressing, nothing ruins a cute look like showing waaay too much skin. Just wanted to let you know that I love your silver shoes article- maybe it's the rain today, but it really cheered me up.
