So the bottom line is:  I am facing a Mastectomy.

Now I would like to hear from you.  Have you had cancer?  What kind?  Have you had a Mastectomy?  A single breast or a bi-lateral mastectomy?

What are the pros and cons?

A side note:

Very early in my life, I heard the phrase, "Pity begets self-pity."  To me, this means I can't go around feeling sorry for someone because, pretty soon, I'm going to be feeling sorry for myself.

Also, very early in my life, I was introduced to the "Praise Books" written by Merlin Carothers.  One of his books that I remember is "Prison to Praise".  Another is "Power in Praise".

My attitude here is "Praise God" (and/or a Higher Power) that this is happening.  I don't like that this is happening.  I wish this wasn't happening.  If I was having my way here, this wouldn't be happening.  But somebody is going to learn something from this.  It could be me.  It could be you.  It could be we will never know who will learn something from this.

Even the crap has value.
