Denzel Washington is one of my favorite actors. He's 52. His wife is Pauletta Pearson and they've been together for 24 years. They have four children, John, Katia, and twins - Olivia and Malcolm.

Denzel is a child of divorce. Perhaps this is the source of the intense concentration and sensitivity. I see him as a person of principle.

Washington's career actually started on TV. He played on 'St. Elsewhere' for six seasons from 1982 to 1988.

He's been nominated for an Oscar five times, capturing two, one for 'Glory' and one for 'Training Day'.

I loved 'Remember the Titans', a Disney film that grossed over $100 million.
