Some of these might sound to you obvious, but maybe you can learn something new. When I just started my beauty routine no one really told me what to do, my mom was never into caring about herself and my girlfriends didn't know more than I did, so I had to learn the long way, trying bunch of products and discovering that they don't do much for my acne skin. Until it just went away. and then few years later when I tried to find good foundation or lipstick that stays on, again, it was a game of try-and-learn.
These are few lessons I learned, hopefully they'll be useful to someone:
- make sure to clean your face EVERY night. it's enough to miss one and you ruined everything
- always moisturize, even if you have an oily skin. Just find the right moisturizer that balances your skin
- always use products that already have sunblock in it, you never know what;s the weather gonna be like for the rest of the day
- you probably heard that drinking lots of water is good for your skin, and it actually does. water is your best facial on a budget
- never use anti-aging products if you don't really need it!! some of them contain pretty strong ingredients that you better keep for your 50s
- watch your face. literally. most of the wrinkles start as face expression lines. so watch your forehead and corners of your eyes.
- last and most important lesson: smile! smile makes you many years younger. trust me!
