Reebok announced yesterday that it’ll be the official sponsor of the 2008 Avon Walk Around the World for Breast Cancer. The Avon walk takes place in over 50 countries around the world where participants take an active part of the fundraising. The two day walk in each city is the final step, each participant raises money, support Breast Cancer awareness in their community and finally walks 39 miles in two days with fellow supporters!! (This coming weekend the Avon Walk will take place in NYC!)

For the 2008 walk Reebok will incorporate the pink ribbon on its footwear, apparel, and accessories. Their sponsorship will help bring awareness to this great cause and of course a significant donation was made.

I wasn’t able to understand yet if any percentage of the sale will be donated as well, but this is a great support for such an important cause!

The line will be launched in January of 2008.
