Sightseeing on the run

Site-Jogging
Site-Jogging

You love your city, and you love that feeling you get after running. It's the in-between that's a problem.

You also love traveling to new cities, but hate feeling like a tourist.

Well, not anymore! instead of dreading the pavement and the usual run in your hood, you can now be a tour guide to your favorite spots in your city. Or join a tour guided by a local jogger to show you the real scenes outside your hotel.

It's called Site-Jogging, the simple combination between sightseeing and jogging. And it's a win-win situation for those that don't want to skip their training while on vacation, and get to know the city the way the locals know it.

It doesn't mean you need to run the NYC Marathon next time you visit the big apple. But it is a fun way to combine eaxercise while traveling, meet new people, and shake that touristy feeling. Each run is fitted for your personal capability and can range in the number of people.

There are a few companies offering such services in big cities around the US and Europe. Look for one before you start packing for your next adventure.
