Joshua Allen Harris redefines garbage bags.

It's not leftover trash, nor evidence of a hot sale. It is a creative way to conserve energy and amuse pedestrians.

Harris creates inflatable characters out of big black trash bags, tapes them to sidewalk grates, and lets the wind from the subway trains do the rest.

One moment you are walking by a trash bag, and the next the wind from a passing train inflates it to be a giant giraffe/the Loch Ness monster/some baby bears.

So simple, yet SO creative!
