I am a true cocktail ring junky, truly ever since I can remember.  I have always had to have a ring on my finger.  But, the thing was I had always had to wear it on the "ring finger"  don't ask why.  Maybe it was a "girl power" thing.  Saying to all the boys I will not wait to enjoy and to anticipate that "special" day to have that ring place on my finger.  I have  never been a patient type of girl so why wait right?  My very first purchase was when I was 18 years old, an 6ct. oval-cut deep amethyst with four diamonds on each side of the ring.  I tell you what I was very empowered that day.  I guess that I got that from my mother.  My mother I would say went over board, she will wear a ring on just about every finger, she told me.  So I guess instead of wearing a ring on every finger why not just cut the little ones out and buy a huge one.

Lately I have been browsing Tiffany's online.  I came across 9ct emerald-cut rings.  My favorite is the green quartz!  It is different, eye catching and modest at the same time.  Everyone will notice the engraved Tiffany & Co on the side of the ring!

What a great gift to give yourself, that you can gaze at every single day!
