I came across some beautiful pics of Nicole Richie in Black Book Magazine's April issue and began to think about something.

What would life be like if there were no accessories?What exactly does accessorizing do to an ensemble that makes the wearer appear Oh So Chic?

I looked in the dictionary and saw how behind some in the world were when it came to understanding the value that the right accessories can add to an otherwise boring world!

The definition (according to Webster)  of accessory in it of itself wreaked of something undervalued, unappreciated or unnecessary.!

In fact, Webster's main description for accessory is as follows......

"A subordinate or supplementary item;" or " Having a secondary, supplementary, or subordinate function."

How rude!

Did the powers that be at Merriam–Webster give any thought to how far off the mark they were when they attempted to make sense of what it meant to have an accessory or even better, to accessorize?

Thank goodness someone, somewhere realized how important it was to utilize accessories. Also communicated as adding completeness, convenience & attractiveness, accessories are hardly the secondary supplements that the fashion deprived thinks they are!

The accessory, while small in nature, is the foundation and the sustaining entity behind the creation of the larger than life glamorization of any attire! 

It's art and can not be easily forgotten!

Can you imagine how empty life would be if all we had to look forward to were shirts, slacks, & shoes ????
