It’s almost here. The much anticipated film adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s Where the Wild Things Are by director Spike Jonze.  The script was penned by acclaimed author Dave Eggers. Both Eggers and Jonze worked closely with Sendak on creating a unique and also apparently haunting version of the story.
