My philosophy on the day devoted to mother nature (or, even to your own mothers, quick reminder, Mother's Day is May 10th this year!) is that these life-giving entities need more than just a day of attention. Nevertheless, this Earth Day, there was one cool product which may have most captured the spirit of what I am talking about. On April 6th Donna Karen and Urban Zen released a new line of eco-friendly tees exclusively on Tonic.com. There are four shirts for guys and girls with messages and proceeds supporting children's futures, preserving cultures, saving the planet and inspiring well-being in the western healthcare systems (my favorite!). Oh, and of course all the shirts are made with 70 percent bamboo and 30 percent organic cotton!
