I love the glamour of a good brooch.  Maybe it started with my fascination with old movie glamour... or maybe it was Carrie's flower brooches on Sex and The City. I’m not sure where my obsessive passion for brooches came from, but a good brooch always seem to add a little something extra to my ensemble. I usually use a brooch to add something extraordinary to my outfits when I'm in "pony tail mode".  "Ponytail mode” is when my hair is pulled back; I’m in a basic black blazer, maybe some cute jeans, plain flats, and a solid color over sized t-shirt.  To make sure that I don't look too dull I'll make sure to spend extra time on my makeup and add some really cute accessories…like a unique brooch.
