Ok, so I'm totally not getting this whole sneakers on the red carpet trend.  I don't know when this became an "it" trend, but this is one trend that is so not doing "it" for me. Sneakers were originally designed for athletes.  Ok, so the fashion world has evolved and designers like Chanel and Coach have created sneakers that totally translate into something stylish.  However, when you rock Converse All-Stars with designer duds, I begin to question one's sanity.  Frankly, it looks half-assed. Don't get me wrong, though, I'm all for personal style, but this is one trend that needs to be kept in the back of the closet.
