I'm sure you've all seen commercials advertising the Cindy Crawford Home Collection with Raymour & Flanigan. Well after viewing the commercial this morning, curiosity got the best of me and I decided to check out the collection for myself. I wanted to know if this former supermodel actually had a career in furniture design. After seeing some of the pieces on the Raymour & Flangian site, I think Cindy might just have a future in the furniture business. I will admit that my expectations were high but considering we are talking about the one and only Cindy Crawford, I think I had every right to expect the best.  The collection is modest at best. I wasn't blown away, but there are some nice pieces in the collection. Besides the customary luxurious leather pieces and colorful designs, there are some risky pieces that I liked. Take the beachside denim loveseat, for example. I never thought that I would be a fan of a denim couch, but in all honesty it's really not that bad looking. I enourage others to check out the collection for themselves and decide if they're a fan. On another note, I also give Cindy props for venturing outside of the modeling world. She could have started a fashion-based reality show like others in the industry, but she opted to be different. That kind of fearlessness is always commendable in my book.
