Ok so as you know I have perhaps decided on a dress at this point. After looking through the stores of SOHO I put a few choice numbers on hold. However, one MUST accessorize! My FAVORITE jewelry store in Manhattan is the VERSANI store. They have the most awesome cool looks in town. Super trendy color leather with silver, nice straight earings... I mean who can go wrong picking out something here. I actually once planned on making my boyfriend a the time a custom ring based on his father, and his father's father's ring he used to wear. The ring had three stones in it that formed a square.. opal, turquoise, and onyx... it was a cool ring, and it is just totally wonderful that VERSANI will do custom taliored jewelry. Of course I didn't end up getting married to that one.. so good thing I didn't go through with that purchase, although I often wonder what it would have looked like made... So I ended up picking out some earings that were straight after pondering a possible large hoop pair, and then went for a delicate leather bracelet with a leather strapped on to it. So I had a dress or two on hold, to be bought, and then some nice accessories, .... perhaps just a peak into the Anna Sui to make sure I didn't miss out on anything.. We went into the store and I tried on a dress to no avail and poked around at some jewelry that just wasn't for the dress I now knew I wanted out of the ones I put on hold. So I casually looked over the underwear and thought how nice it is, even at a work event, to know you look great on the outside and on the inside ( of course a good person helps too but I was thinking lingerie ). WELL, after all that shopping I was sure needing a break. We took a quick walk up to Think Coffee which is a super chill people reading and drawing kinda tea spot. Perfect for an after shop till we tea-ed kind of a day. We had a lovely talk over our green matcha, and pondered at the girl at the table near us whom proceeded to cut magazine fashion articles out of magazines for a good 2 hours straight, no joke. Strangeness... Oh if only she knew fashion and putting together your outfits you like and looks you like didn't have to involve glue and scissors. A simple wireless laptop and a url of MyItThings would do!!! -----stay tuned for the final article, THE DRESS!!!!
