Previously published as the "Diary of a Magus: The Road to Santiago", "The Pilgrimage" is one of the earliest works of the bestselling Paulo Coelho and one of my favorite books of all time.
It's the most open, personal and spiritual of his novels for me.
If in his other novels Coelho made an effort to popularize his ideas into digestible stories this one is told as is, therefore is most powerful.
