“LOUIS VUITTON: A PASSION FOR CREATION” Exhibition at the Hong Kong Museum of Art.
“LOUIS VUITTON: A PASSION FOR ...

As you might know, Louis Vuitton’s association with art is a long story, which developed even further with the arrival of Marc Jacobs in 1997. Collaborations with artists such as Stephen Sprouse, Takashi Murakami and Richard Prince resulted in some of the most memorable Louis Vuitton fashion collections.

“Louis Vuitton: A Passion for Creation” exhibition celebrates these artistic collaborations and poises to be one of the star attractions of the 17th French May Arts Festival in Hong Kong.

In addition to the individual works presented, the entire building of Hong Kong Museum of Art is wrapped with the “After Dark” series of Richard Prince, presenting a new landscape of art to the panoramic Victoria Harbour of Hong Kong.

If you happen to be in Hong Kong this summer - this should definitely be on your tergets list, for the rest of us - let's just hope that one day it will travel the world.

The Louis Vuitton : A Passion for Creation exhibition  is open to public from May 22nd to August 9th 2009.
