Louis Vuitton is a brand known for the most creative collaborations the luxury industry has seen: it doesn't afraid to cross mediums and go beyond the sold items - into arts, film and even space.
The Journeys campaign, first launched in 2007, now gets a new twist with the ‘Journeys Awards’ in association with one of my favorite filmmakers of all times ("In the Mood For Love") Wong Kar Wai.
Created to showcase the talents of emerging filmmakers, they will award two prizes of $25,000 each (The Jury Award and The People's Choice Award). In addition, the winning films will be featured on louisvuitton.com and in LV stores around the world, giving a new generation of filmmakers a rare platform for their vision and talent to shine.
As an inspiration board for students from the most prestigious international film schools, Wong Kar Wai has made a 2 minute short movie ‘My Blueberry Days’ on the theme of life as a journey. Visit http://www.journeysawards.com to view the movie, as well as vote for your favorite among the 15 best short films, chosen by the jury.
